YLE Flyers is the third level of the Cambridge exams for children between the ages of 7 and 12. It represents the level that tests children’s and young people’s ability to speak, understand and write in English on familiar topics and everyday situations.
The exam is given in paper format and lasts about 75 minutes. It is always passed and all children receive up to a maximum of five shields for each test taken. The number of shields obtained for each test will be indicated on the certificate, which will be sent approximately two months after the exam.
Why obtain an A1 Flyers certification?
Flyers certification (Advanced A1 or Pre-A2) is an ideal choice for children who are still in schools and need to reinforce their classroom English and express themselves with a basic level of English.
